Education and experience
Greg Kiper has worked as a counselor with various populations in substance use treatment agencies in the Seattle, Eastside as well as a co-occurring disorder therapist with the Snoqualmie Tribe. Greg found his calling to be a therapist later in life, after a career as an entrepreneur and business owner. He believes that this experience has given him a unique perspective as a therapist. Being in recovery himself, he brings an empathy to his work that allows him to establish a collaborative therapeutic alliance where, working together, you can explore and discover the nuances that can help you to be more functional as an individual, spouse, sibling, or parents. Greg holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Saybrook University-LIOS, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Kansas University, and a Certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Bellevue College. Greg lives with his wife and two dogs and enjoys outdoor pursuits, including hiking, gardening, biking, and skiing. He plays guitar, sings in the Master Chorus Eastside, and enjoys spending all the time he can with his two granddaughters.
